I created this presentation for the clinical counseling supervision team at the University of Florida Career Resource Center. In order to better connect with the new supervisors' experiences and setting, I chose to share an approach that is based on Chickering's vectors of development, a familiar theory of student development that was adapted for counseling supervision (Loganbill, Hardy, & Delworth, 1982). After describing foundational aspects of supervision and the theory itself, I emphasized how it could be used in practice.
